About Me

My name is Marie Holzer and I am Four Fifty One Media. I believe, quite simply, clear and effective written communication is essential to making the world work. It sounds so simple, doesn’t it? But we both know it’s not.

My journey started originally back in 1994 when I began writing my first novel in junior high. From there, I never really looked back. My web experience started in 2004 as a blogger on mental health and diet/exercise. I loved writing for the web and discovered I was good at it. In 2006, I took the leap and started writing as a freelancer. Within only a few months, I was sure I found my calling. I founded DMR Writing Services where I wrote on entertainment, pop culture, home and decor, as well as resumes and cover letters.

In 2009, I realized that my focus was not on what I was best at. I realized I needed a brand that emphasized my talent for pithy, interesting copy not only for articles and blogs but for marketing copy as well. Four Fifty One Media was founded to cover all of this, as well as include my pet project, GreenYourApartment.com, a blog on green living for apartment-dwellers.

Quite simply, I love what I do. And I’d love to work with you on your pet project.
