I am a big fan of the copy Trader Joe’s uses to sell its products. I’m sure other have come before me, but they have a succinct and often hilarious way of grabbing their customers attention.
For example, their bathroom tissue:
This is good copy. Trader Joe’s knows their market and is reaching out to them in ways that will catch their customers eye. It caught mine!
In a major faux pas I’m going to quote someone anonymously here:
Dear 2009 – after much review I (and several friends) have decided that you suck. Therefore, we have replaced you with a better looking 2010.
With a hearty “Here, here!” I welcome you to 2010. May your profits rise, your overhead lower, and your job [...]
